SWAT Defensive/Tactical Pepperfog®

The non-lethal alternative.

SWAT Defensive/Tactical Pepperfog are the ultimate legal, non-lethal self protection option for use on all creatures (two, as well as four-legged). A single dosage of SWAT Pepperfog to an assailant is usually enough to immediately stop the attack and incapacitate the villain. With a 90-95% ‘one-shot-stop’, it’s even more effective than a firearm. It has an effective range of 3-4 meters and can be used indoors, as well as outdoors.

SWAT Pepperfog are locally manufactured and contains Oleoresin Capsicum (OC), a natural product extracted from chilli peppers.

OC is not an irritant (like ‘teargas’), it is an inflammatory agent. Typical physiological effects are: the eyes slam shut and cannot be opened for upwards of 20 minutes; the pupils dilate, further contributing to temporary blindness due to light sensitivity; mucous membranes of the nose, mouth, throat, bronchial passages and lungs are inflamed and exude fluid, creating a sensation of extreme breathing difficulty (laryngospasm); severe coughing and gagging; and nausea is sometimes experienced.

Psychological effects include: panic, fear, severe disorientation and sometimes the uncontrollable urge to urinate or defecate. All symptoms are temporary – the person sprayed should be functional again in half an hour to 45 minutes and should return to normal after an hour, with the exception of a typical dull headache.

Course Contents: This practical course covers a brief history on chemical aerosols and defensive sprays, the different SWAT-products and their  applications, the physiological and psychological effects of SWAT Pepperfog on a attacker, as well as treatment and decontamination procedures.

The practical includes the use of inert sprays (gas and direct stream) to do some ‘target-practice’ with, practical safety hints, and then… for the brave (and those lacking in faith), we have a practical (STRICTLY OPTIONAL) where you can experience (or at least witness) the effect of SWAT Defensive/Tactical Pepperfog first hand! (And you wondered why we cover treatment and decontamination procedures!) The purpose of this exercise is to give the customer firsthand experience in the effect of SWAT Pepperfog, which will build your confidence in the product and earn your respect as to not abuse / misuse it.
